Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher (2014)

An anime film starring Black Widow and the Punisher, you say? Whoa! Don’t leave this page just yet. Yes, you, settle down for a second. I said anime, not hentai. Jokes aside, Avengers Confidential: Black Widow & Punisher is one of those hidden gems that most people don’t realize even exists until they eventually see it on the shelf or online somewhere.

Bursting with action and oozing stylish art, this is a wicked team-up film that clicks in all the right places. But when you think about why it works, it makes sense instantly. I must say that after watching this sensational film, I couldn’t help but feel a little bit of sadness inside. Not because it sucked, but since a sequel is highly unlikely because, you know, reasons.
