3) Green Lantern
The most recent Green Lantern rumour is that the character’s planned reboot will focus on Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart, with at least one of them arriving on Earth at the end of the first Justice League movie to warn the team of an incoming threat (most likely Darkseid).
The character is definitely notable by his absence in Batman V Superman as of right now, and while the 2011 movie may have been a disappointment, it would be it would suck if he wasn’t a founding member of the team. For that reason alone, here’s hoping he does more than show up at the end of the 2017 superhero ensemble, because this rumour makes him sound like little more than an afterthought, even if he ends up playing a key role in the planned sequel.
Hal would be the preferred option here, though Jon certainly has a pretty devoted fanbase after Justice League Unlimited, so it’s hard to tell which route WB will go.
