Death of Wolverine

Ok, this isn’t a Phase 4 movie (or even a Marvel Studios one for that matter), but hear me out, because it would be nothing short of incredible to see this brought to the big screen.

As of right now, it’s believed that Hugh Jackman’s third and final Wolverine movie is going to be an adaptation of the Old Man Logan storyline. However, Fox is known for adapting the source material in a fairly loose manner, so incorporating elements of The Death of Wolverine could be the perfect way to bring Jackman and this character’s tenure to an end in the X-Men Universe.

In the story, Wolverine lost his healing factor and discovered that the Adamantium covering his bones was killing him. In one final act of heroism, Logan finally brought an end to Weapon X, but ended up encased in a tomb of that indestructible metal – a perfect and fitting end for him.
