Deadpool's journey to the big screen has been fascinating to watch, and while the leaked screenplay didn't get it the green light, the overwhelmingly positive response to the leaked footage which followed most certainly did. However, it was always hard to believe that the movie was really happening, and Fox's track record made it even harder to be sure that it would actually be any good.

There aren’t many movies which could realistically get away with a montage of sex scenes, but Deadpool nails it (pun most definitely intended).

The relationship between Wade and Vanessa is surprisingly touching, but what better way is there to show that than having the buff Ryan Reynolds and smoking hot Morena Baccarin going at it throughout pretty much every major holiday?

Once again making good use of music – the montage is set to Neil Sedaka’s “Calendar Girl” – there are also some very funny moments squeezed into these scenes, including Wade’s unusual choice of hiding place for the ring he uses to ask Vanessa to marry him.
