7 Burning Questions We Have After Watching Aquaman

Aquaman is now out across the globe and, after seeing him cameo in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and feature as part of the ensemble cast of Justice League, we've finally had the chance to witness Jason Momoa lead his own vehicle as the King of Atlantis. Thankfully, he does a terrific job in the role and overall, the film's a blast and easily one of the most fun and crowd-pleasing entries in the Worlds of DC to date.

Director James Wan and his writers David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Will Beall had a lot of work on their hands in introducing regular folks to the expansive mythology of Atlantis and the rest of the underwater kingdoms. On the whole, though, they should be pretty pleased with how they prevented the film from being bogged down with exposition. However, this approach does mean that we have a few questions we’d like answers to.

Aquaman is clearly made with the intention of spawning a sequel, so there are many elements of the plot or the characters’ arcs that we’re left wondering about and would like to see expanded on in the prospective second movie.
