However, perhaps as a consequence of it being based off a lesser-known comics property and being more standalone than a lot of comic book films around, Suicide Squad possesses fewer easter eggs than the likes of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Captain America: Civil War. Nevertheless, there are a number of comic callbacks that you may have caught while watching.
