10 Spider-Man Characters Who Need To Join The Marvel Cinematic Universe

Last month, Spider-Man finally joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Tom Holland suited up and swung into action in Captain America: Civil War. Next up for him is solo movie Spider-Man: Homecoming from director Jon Watts, while it's thought that the iconic superhero will also factor into the two-part Avengers: Infinity War.

The editor of The Daily Bugle, J. Jonah Jameson seriously hates Spider-Man. Of course, little does he know that the kid he employs to take photos of the wall-crawler is also the hero he’s branded a menace.

J.K. Simmons brilliantly played the character in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man, and clearly afraid of being unable to top that, Marc Webb foolishly left both this character and Peter’s work at the newspaper completely out of his two Amazing Spider-Man movies.

Marvel needs to not make the same mistake. If having the teenage Peter work as a freelance photographer at a major New York newspaper is too hard to believe, follow the Ultimate comics and give him a job there working for The Daily Bugle’s website. Jonah, Robbie, Betty and all those other characters need to be part of the new Spider-Man’s world, as seeing Spidey clash with JJJ would be just as much fun now as it was a few years ago and still is in the comics.
