6) What Is The Flash’s Appearance In Bruce Wayne’s Dream All About?

You will have caught The Flash, as played by Ezra Miller, in Batman V Superman neutralizing a would-be convenience store burglar, as seen in the brief CCTV footage that Bruce Wayne watches in his apartment (courtesy of Lex Luthor’s ‘metahumans’ research file). What you might not have noticed is The Flash also puts in an appearance in one of Bruce’s dreams, giving the Caped Crusader a warning.

According to Future Flash, Superman is going to bring about the apocalypse, and the only way Bruce can stop that is by getting to Lois Lane first. Of course, there are many, many questions posed here.

For one, how did The Flash infiltrate Bruce Wayne’s dreams? Or, if Bruce is just imagining it, how does his subconscious know about Lois Lane’s connection with Superman/Clark Kent? It’s doubly baffling when The Flash and his powers in this universe haven’t even been established yet.
