10 Underrated Batman Storylines That Should Be Adapted To Film

Think about this for a second: the DCEU knows that the Dark Knight is its cash cow (or bat?) and wants to create its own Batverse within the cinematic universe. So, what better way is there to introduce all the various characters than with a Batman Incorporated story?

Technically, this example is cheating since it covers an entire comic book series. However, the overall premise of the series is a solid motivation. When Bruce realizes that he can’t be everywhere at once and requires assistance, he creates his own army to battle crime. Rather than feature global Batmen, such as Knight and El Gaucho, we see the members being the likes of the Bat Family, i.e. Batgirl, Nightwing, Duke Thomas.

The international aspect of Batman Incorporated might have to be done away with, but the concept could go a long way in explaining why the Dark Knight needs so many vigilantes in his corner. If the filmmakers are adamant that they want to pay tribute to the likes of Knight and Squire, they could still throw in a cameo if need be.
