Colin Firth has made a name for himself over the years as a bumbling British stereotype in the vein of Hugh Grant, but unlike that prostitute loving sonovagun, recent movie choices have caused us to re-evaluate Firth’s acting persona in the best way possible.

A key aspect of this was Firth’s casting in Kingsman: Secret Service, Matthew Vaughn’s British action thriller. As agent Harry Hart, Firth completely reinvented his onscreen persona, becoming a kick ass secret agent while still retaining his dapper mannerisms.

In a film of many standout moments, the first time Firth’s fighting skills are unleashed is easily the best, leaving our jaws dropped as he proceeded to take out a gang of thugs with nothing more than a pint glass and a hi-tech umbrella.

Not since Rihanna drilled her way into our heads has an umbrella kicked so much ass.
