3) “It’s Morphin’ Time!”

The first Power Rangers trailer memorably ended with Dacre Montgomery’s Jason starting to morph into his Red Ranger suit. Here, we get the rest of that scene and a proper look at how the rebooted Rangers will change into their superhero outfits.

In the old days, the Rangers would hold out their morphers and shout the name of their respective dinosaurs at the camera before magically appearing in their suits. In the movie, it looks like the gang will have to stand on special power podiums that materialize their suits around them. Whether they always have to stand on these to suit up, or whether they can morph on the go as in the series, remains to be seen.

The best part is that Jason recites the original show’s catchphrase at this point: “It’s morphin’ time!” Presumably, it’s a phrase he adlibs just this once, and won’t be used all the time like in the show, but it’s nice to hear it all the same.
