7 Things You Need To See In The Final Logan Trailer

With Hugh Jackman about to hang up his adamantium claws forever, all eyes are on Logan to provide a worthy final bow for the Wolverine. If he really does have to go - after 9 films over a record-breaking 17 years - if'd be nice if he could make his exit with his best ever outing as the character.

X23 Logan

Things look to be in dire straights for Laura in one moment in the trailer when she’s hunted down by the Reavers, a gang of cyborgs. Fortunately, it becomes clear that she can handle herself. As well as being generally tough, Laura also takes after Logan in that she has two adamantium claws on each hand – which she uses here to slice some guy’s throat. Like Professor X says to Logan, “she’s very much like you.”

Fans will know full well that Keen is playing X-23 AKA Laura Kinney, who – probable spoiler alert – is a clone of Logan’s in the comics. As well as also having an adamantium skeleton, Laura has the usual package of Wolverine powers – accelerated healing and virtual immortality. Her codename comes from the fact that she was the 23rd such experiment.

It’s thought that, with Jackman retiring, it will be up to Laura to continue the mantle of Wolverine in future movies. Going by what we see here, she’ll definitely be up to the task as she’s just as vicious and capable as her sort-of dad. In fact, she looks to be the toughest pre-teen girl in a superhero movie since Chloe Grace Moretz as Hit-Girl in Kick-Ass.
