The second huge young adult adaptation releasing in November, The Hunger Games: Catching Firehas been highly anticipated since the first film in the franchise hit the big screen in 2012. Since then, not only has Jennifer Lawrence won an Oscar, but she’s solidified herself in an iconic way as the down-to-earth actress in Hollywood. As a result, Catching Fire should soar at the box office.

While most are in agreement that the second book isn’t quite as good as the first, many times the second film in a series is when the actors are able to really thrive in the role. They’ve had time to get comfortable with things and reflect on their performance from the previous movie.

The trailers we’ve seen for the film are pretty great too, including the most recent one, so if you’ve somehow missed it, head on over and check it out. Even if you aren’t a huge fan of the first film, the previews should get you pretty excited to head to theaters on November 22nd to check out the second entry in this mega franchise.
