The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The second huge young adult adaptation releasing in November, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, has been highly anticipated since the first film in the franchise hit the big screen in 2012. Since then, not only has Jennifer Lawrence won an Oscar, but she’s solidified herself in an iconic way as the down-to-earth actress in Hollywood. As a result, Catching Fire should soar at the box office.

While most are in agreement that the second book isn’t quite as good as the first, many times the second film in a series is when the actors are able to really thrive in the role. They’ve had time to get comfortable with things and reflect on their performance from the previous movie.
