5 Reasons Why We’re Skeptical Of Deadpool

In only a matter of months we will have a Deadpool movie playing in theaters. That’s right, a Deadpool movie. If someone were to tell me that 5 years ago, I probably would’ve thought they had several drugs in their system. But no, this right here is the real deal.

5) If It’s Anything Like The Leaked Script, Then We Have A Big Problem

Listen, I didn’t have a single problem with the original Deadpool script that popped up on the internet way back when. It was a very good and well paced plot that seemed to stay true to the character, which is something I loved and absolutely couldn’t wait to see on screen. Flash-forward about 3 years into the future though and I’m no longer interested in seeing THAT script brought to life on screen.

It’s not that I didn’t like or I didn’t enjoy it, it’s just that I really think FOX has an opportunity here to make something original and different compared to the old script, and my hope is that they take this “opportunity ball” and run with it, otherwise it will just be another missed opportunity for them.

At this point, plot details are still being kept tightly under wraps, so we’re not sure how much of the original script made it into the final cut. We can only hope that the studio has their head on straight and gives fans the Deadpool story they deserve.
