Elastigirl and Mr Incredible

They’re competitive, judgemental and demanding in their interactions – but they are irresistibly drawn to each other with a passion that runs deep. In the midst of their heroic exploits, they marry and embark on a life of bliss together – until public opinion of superheroes turns against them.

Forced into suburbia, they attempt to mask their abilities – his super-strength, and her phenomenal stretchiness – but become increasingly frustrated. As their three children develop their own super abilities, that frustration grows, and places the union of Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl under immense pressure.

The family descends into an atmosphere of suspicion and distrust, as Elastigirl maintains her stay-at-home Mom persona, and Mr. Incredible is distracted by the distant promise of some super-action. But, when it turns out that this promise is actually a trap, Elastigirl must return to action to save her husband and her family. This display of unconditional love prompts Mr Incredible to reciprocate the gesture, and The Incredibles are once again a solid, devoted unit.
