2) Those Incantations
We’ve already seen magic in the Marvel Cinematic Universe thanks to the Scarlet Witch, and one of the biggest questions fans have had about Doctor Strange is how this movie would differentiate the way Stephen uses his powers to that member of The Avengers. Well, we quickly get an answer to that in this trailer thanks to the spells the hero casts creating those awesome looking energy rings around his hands.
That’s something quite literally lifted straight out of the comic books, and you have to hand it to Marvel and director Scott Derrickson for making them a) look so good, and b) actually work in live-action. It’s a tough bit of imagery to pull off, but like everything else we’ve seen from this movie so far, it appears as if it’s been handled in a way sure to make fans very happy indeed.
