8 Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Rumors We Hope Come True

While Marvel and DC fans continue to bicker over which will be better, there's no denying that both Captain America: Civil War and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are 2016's most highly anticipated releases. While the former will see the Avengers divided, the latter is all about establishing the DC Extended Universe and assembling the Justice League. Oh, and Batman and Superman kicking each other's butts as well.

Batman v Superman

Despite the title, Batman V Superman isn’t going to be all about the two heroes fighting. The movie will be setting the stage for Justice League (hence the Dawn of Justice subtitle), by introducing a number of new heroes, not to mention balancing the reveal of Lex Luthor’s still very mysterious plan and the eventual team-up between Batman and Superman, which is going to see them put their differences aside to take on an even greater threat.

Rumour has it then that the two titular heroes will end up coming to blows in Batman V Superman a total of two times, but will that really be enough?

It’s going to have to be. The first will see Batman apparently trying to take down Superman in the Batmobile (glimpses of that could be seen in the trailer, as could Batman taking on the Metropolis based hero in his regular costume), with a rematch then taking place in Gotham City once Bruce Wayne has armoured up to take down the Man of Steel.

Honestly, as long as these fights are handled in a satisfying manner and last for more than just a couple of minutes, twice should be enough. After all, it’s surely better to leave us all wanting more rather than them dragging on far too long.
