8 Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice Rumors We Hope Come True

While Marvel and DC fans continue to bicker over which will be better, there's no denying that both Captain America: Civil War and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice are 2016's most highly anticipated releases. While the former will see the Avengers divided, the latter is all about establishing the DC Extended Universe and assembling the Justice League. Oh, and Batman and Superman kicking each other's butts as well.

Justice League

The title of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice makes it clear that we’re going to get some big nods to the Justice League in this movie, and with Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash and Wonder Woman all confirmed to appear in some way, chances are that we’ll see an early version of this iconic DC Comics team standing tall by the time the credits roll.

That’s the rumour anyway, and it sounds like Batman V Superman may just end up finishing on a cliffhanger, as they’ll come together just in time to face a new threat from the stars. Who will that be, though? Well, the latest reports point to Superman villain Brainiac!

It’s been said that Green Lantern won’t be showing up until the end of the first Justice League movie, and when he does, it will be to announce the impending arrival of Darkseid. The team is clearly going to have their hands full with cosmic threats by then, and if there’s any truth to that rumour about the way Batman V Superman will lead into the two Justice League movies, it’s pretty hard to fault Snyder’s current plan, as it sounds like a solid way to go.

Brainiac and Darkseid are also two epic villains, and while they’re both very different, fans are desperate for them both to get the big screen treatment.
