8 Comic Book Movie Moments That We’ll Never Forget

With Avengers: Age of Ultron coming up next month, fans are eagerly waiting to see what Marvel has in store for them. The grand entrance of Hit-Girl took Kick-Ass from a good movie to a great movie in a matter of minutes. Not that the film didn’t have a lot going for it up to that point, because it did. It’s just that Chloe Moretz’s incredible breakthrough role really catapulted Kick-Ass onto the list of must-watch comic book movies.

But I digress. For those who haven’t seen it, here’s what happens. The titular hero gets mixed up with some dangerous individuals and as he’s about to meet his maker, all of the sudden an 11 year-old girl appears and saves his life, before proceeding to drop the C word and then take out an entire room of drug dealers in the most unforgiving, bloody and brutal fashion possible.

Oh, and did we mention that the entire scene plays out to “Banana Splits” by The Dickies? Yeah, it’s pretty fucking awesome. Seriously, this scene needs to be seen to be believed, so check out the video above to see for yourself what we’re talking about.
