3) Is Magneto A Good Guy Now?

Michael Fassbender’s younger, more volatile version of Magneto has repeatedly crossed the line between being on the good side and the bad side. Apocalypse alone sees him go from one extreme – aiding the destruction of the Earth – to the other – saving our heroes and helping save the world.

While Mystique ends the film as a member of the X-Men, Magneto parts with his old friend on good terms. Likewise, he is now basically vindicated in the eyes of the world and seen as a hero. So, how will this affect his role in future films? Will he team up with the X-Men the next time we see him, or will he turn back into an antagonist?

Let’s hope not, as it would be fun to see him eventually take on the role the character does in the comics – actually leading the X-Men.
