Scarlet Witch

Wanda Maximoff (as played by Elizabeth Olsen) gets her place on this list more for the vast potential of the character than what we have actually seen her do so far. After all, she hasn’t even been called Scarlet Witch yet.

Appearing so far in Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: Civil War, Wanda has been unfortunately sidelined due to the massive scope of those two films. However, the character has had a good story arc bubbling away in the background. She started as a stooge of Ultron before joining the Avengers team. Now, however, she seems increasingly worried about controlling her powers.

Knowing that Scarlet Witch regularly goes off the rails in the comics, Wanda is something of a ticking time bomb and it will be interesting to see what happens when she blows.
