8 Marvel TV Characters Who Need To Appear In The Movies

For all the talk of the Marvel Cinematic Universe being one big connected timeline, it's basically made up of two separate continuities – that of the films and the TV shows. While the Netflix series contain the odd oblique reference to The Avengers and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. sports the odd movie guest star like Lady Sif or even Nick Fury, there really isn’t too much go-between among them.

1) Wilson Fisk

Despite how much we would love to see all the heroes unite, Daredevil’s Wilson Fisk takes the top spot of this list because in many ways he seems the most likely TV character to appear in a movie.

While it might be confusing for audiences if other heroes like Daredevil and Jessica turned up, Fisk could easily cameo as a mob boss type character without any previous backstory needed. Yet another character who is tied to Spider-Man, Fisk is arguably just as synonymous with the wallcrawler as he is Daredevil. A brief appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming would only be right, then, and could surely be easily fixed up.

Unfortunately, Vincent D’Onofrio himself has seemingly ruled out a movie appearance on Twitter, saying: “it would be great but I don’t think it will happen.”

But is he telling truth? The Kingpin doesn’t usually make his secrets public…
