When it was first announced that DC and Warner Bros. were planning on making Suicide Squad, a movie based on a fairly obscure team of supervillains, the question on many people’s lips was 'why?' Once we saw the terrific trailers, though, that question quickly morphed into 'can it live up to all the hype?'

Speaking of Enchantress, at the start of the film Waller is confidently using the volatile ancient witch as her own special ops agent. As she explains to her bosses, she can control Enchantress because she is in possession of her heart (which is outside of her body for some reason – just go with it).

Did Waller think she could control such a powerful being – in particular, one who can teleport wherever she likes? All it took for Enchantress to get loose was a quick lapse in judgement from Rick Flag and she was free to snatch the jar containing her brother and wreak havoc.

Shouldn’t Waller have predicted that something like this would happen? Does she just like manipulating people that much that she would put the world in danger? You don’t need to be Dr. Harleen Quinzel to tell that this woman is a serious control freak.
