Once we saw the terrific trailers, though, that question quickly morphed into 'can it live up to all the hype?'

Many who were excited to see a lot of Jared Leto’s take on the Joker in Suicide Squad were left disheartened when the character disappeared for most of the second half of the movie, after apparently dying in a helicopter crash. Of course, the Joker isn’t dead as he returns to break Harley out of jail at the end of the film.

But just how did he survive? We saw the helicopter crash and burn and everything. Well, the answers to this would probably have been answered in the original cut of the film. Joker was to have appeared again just before the big climax, asking Harley to come with him. In a character-defining moment, she would have defied her puddin’ and stayed with her friends to save the world.
