Arguably the biggest film of 2016, not much can be said about Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice that hasn't been said already. It's the film that fans have been waiting for, and it's the film that will pave the way for Justice League. If you're not already drooling over this one, you may need to get your head checked.

8 Burning Questions We Have After Watching Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

It is fair to say that the reaction to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice has been decidedly mixed. A lot of the criticism directed at the movie is to do with how overstuffed it is. Apart from the smash-up between the two titular heroes, BvS also has subplots for Lois Lane, Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Evil Mark Zuckerberg and a big CGI monster. Oh, and it has to set up the other metahumans for their starring roles in the Justice League.

As already stated, it can’t be denied that Batman V Superman has got a lot of people riled, regardless of your own opinion of it. People are so disappointed in the movie that many are calling for the films to take a drastically different approach in future – and even for Zack Snyder to be removed from the director’s chair for the Justice League movies.

Warner Bros. are hardly likely to ignore such a fervent reaction, so the question is: will they do anything about it? Could they listen to some of the more outspoken fans and replace Snyder? Or will they merely advise him to make things a little lighter in future? Maybe they have complete faith in him and will leave him to make Justice League just the way he wants to.

Whatever the critical reception to the film, it is really the box office that will affect how matters proceed from here. Things look to be going very well so far, but the coming weeks will be the true test of Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice‘s success.
