Ryan Reynolds Will Want To Top The Previous Film

If the rumors of the disagreements with Tim Miller are true, Ryan Reynolds will want to prove that he was in the right about the direction of the sequel. No one wants to have a disagreement over a creative project and then let it turn into dog poop. Just ask Tom Cruise how he feels about The Mummy right now…

Whichever way, Reynolds loves Deadpool and never gave up on the character even after X-Men Origins: Wolverine did its best to kill the Merc with the Mouth’s credibility. In fact, one could say it was his constant pushing that allowed 2016’s Deadpool to be made in the first place.

There’s no denying that he’ll do everything possible to ensure this film will be the best it can be. He’s got Simon Kinberg’s ear and respect, so he has all the buy-in he requires from the studio to produce a spectacle of the highest order. Reynolds was born to portray this character and he seems to have found the support and backing needed to let him continue to do it in a way that suits all the parties involved. Personally, we’re beyond excited for it.
