9 Characters That Shouldn’t Appear In Matt Reeves’ The Batman

Considering Batfleck is based on Frank Miller’s version of the Dark Knight, there’s a strong possibility that Carrie Kelley might find her way to the DCEU, too. Frankly (ha!), we think this is a bad idea due to the continuity chaos that it’ll cause for the audience.

Out of all the Robins, she’s technically the last one, so there’s a huge gap of partners to fill before she dons the red, green, and yellow. While it’s entirely possible that the DCEU might (and will) ignore several canonical elements, it’s insulting to the other Boy Wonders to be scrapped in favor of Carrie.

Look, if she does appear as Carrie and not Robin, that’ll make much more sense in the long run and end up being a nice tribute to her as well. Batman’s partners have a rich and long history, so it’s essential to respect each and every one of them, and not jump the proverbial gun just because Miller’s series was Zack Snyder’s favorite version of the Caped Crusader.
