Avengers: Endgame Cast Ask You To Not Spoil The Movie In New Video

If you've been on social media lately, then you've probably seen your friends politely asking that none of us spoil Avengers: Endgame. Though I'm reasonably certain the gloves will come off by Monday morning, there's a good chance a fair amount of folks will comply. Still, there's no law saying you can't get creative by posting statuses saying Harry Potter dies at the end.

Interestingly enough, even directors Joe and Anthony Russo have done their part to hopefully assure that moviegoers walk into theaters as unaware of what’s about to happen as possible. In fact, they’ve been doing all they can to circulate that “DontSpoilTheEndgame” hashtag which you may or may not have come across while browsing your newsfeed.

Now, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes themselves – or, more accurately, the actors who play them – have gotten in on it by participating in the video embedded at the top of this article. As you can see, the likes of Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Brie Larson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd and several others took time out to spread the word. Hemsworth even assures that “I’m watching you,” but I’d like to calm paranoid readers by saying he hasn’t hacked your webcam.

Like I said earlier, the Russo Brothers are at the forefront of this movement, especially after five minutes of the flick leaked online. Actually, a poor quality copy of the entire movie has since surfaced on pirate sites, and it’s recommended that you avoid it. Given that, let’s take a look back at the directors’ sincere message to True Believers:

“To the greatest fans in the world,

This is it. This is the end. The end of an unprecedented narrative mosaic spanning eleven years and eleven franchises.

For all of you who have been on this journey with us since the very beginning, sharing every high and low with your family, your friends, your classmates, your co-workers. Investing so deeply in every character and storyline. Laughing. Cheering Shedding tears. Giving so freely of your thoughts and emotions in spirited dialogue, theories, fan art, and fan fiction. Please know that the two of us, along with everyone involved in Endgame, have worked tirelessly for the last three years with the sole intention of delivering a surprising and emotionally powerful conclusion to the Infinity Saga.

Because so many of you have invested your time, your hearts, and your souls into these stories, we’re once again asking for your help.

When you see Endgame in the coming weeks, please don’t spoil it for others, the same way you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you.

Remember, Thanos still demands your silence.

As always, good luck and happy viewing…

The Russo Brothers
