Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice may have swooped into theaters all the way back in March, but in anticipation of the movie’s Ultimate Edition, new trinkets have started to emerge from Warner and DC’s event film.
From featurettes that take you deep into the bowels of Wayne Manor to an extended peek at what the Ultimate Edition contains, DC fans have once again found themselves awash with Zack Snyder’s divisive tentpole. The latest tidbit to emerge from the ensemble piece is a behind-the-scenes shot of Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman suited and booted on set.
They are, of course, the DC Trinity, and even if the movie built around them struggled to hit the high notes more often than not, there’s no doubting that Snyder served up money shot after money shot in bringing that trio together. And thanks to renown photographer Clay Enos (via CBM), we now have another inspired still to add to the collection.
Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition is available across digital platforms right now, but if you’re holding out for the physical copy, don’t fret; the relatively untainted version of Zack Snyder’s superhero action will release on home media come July 19.
