8 Superhero Fights We Want To See On The Big Screen Next

The superhero vs. superhero trend is properly in full swing right now. This month we’ve had Daredevil vs. Punisher in Daredevil season two and The Dark Knight vs. Supes in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, while next month sees Captain America duke it out with Iron Man in Captain America: Civil War. For whatever reason, that fixture of geeky conversations (“who would win in a fight if…”) is being currently being mined by those who make superhero adaptations.

2) Avengers vs. X-Men

Avengers Vs. X-Men

The deal between Sony and Marvel that saw Spider-Man brought into the Marvel Cinematic Universe was unprecedented and shows that these competing studios can work together. Let’s hope Fox is taking notice, then, and that they are thinking of teaming up with Marvel to give us an Avengers vs X-Men movie.

In the comics, the two teams start a full-on war when they find out that Hope Summers is destined to be the new host of the Phoenix Force – something that the mutants think is their salvation but the Avengers believe is humanity’s downfall.

The result is a massive superpowered fight for survival. Both teams have their moments of heroism and villainy, so it would be a perfect follow-up to Civil War, where fans are split between Team Cap and Team Iron Man. This one is a bit of long shot, yes, but it could happen.

Fingers crossed, everybody!
