When Killer Croc was first revealed, many fans were disappointed to see that David Ayer had gone for a more humanoid version of the Batman villain for Suicide Squad. Still, while you have to give him credit for making an effort to avoid using a fully CGI character in the movie, the fact is that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje makes pretty much no impact here.

Early reports pointed to some gruesome scenes of Croc throwing up goat intestines and eating humans, and while the latter point was certainly implied, there’s not a single moment in Suicide Squad where he feels particularly dangerous or frightening. Throw in him only having a handful of lines and the villain who should have stood out from the crowd here ends up instead just blending into the background.
