6) Captain Boomerang

Jai Courtney is undeniably excellent as Captain Boomerang, but the quirky Australian villain isn’t given anywhere near enough screen time in Suicide Squad. It’s hard to escape the feeling that the majority of his scenes were probably cut because they may have been a little too R-Rated in nature, but decisions made in the editing room mean that Boomer wasn’t the breakout star he should have been (which would have made viewers a lot more excited about seeing him possibly return in The Flash movie a couple of years from now).

On the plus side, Courtney does the best with what he’s given, but the decision not to spend more time on showing his trick boomerangs means he never stands out as a vital member of the team who is in any way essential to the mission playing out here.
