Spider-Man: No Way Home is keeping many secrets and surprises under wraps for the time being, even if the expected reveal of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield wouldn’t really count as either, given how heavily it’s been rumored dating back months. However, always expect the unexpected from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it looks like those Charlie Cox rumors could turn out to be right on the money.
At least, that’s according to insider Grace Randolph, who posits that not only is Netflix’s Daredevil going to show up in Tom Holland’s third solo outing in his casual Matt Murdock attire, but he’s also going to drop by She-Hulk in full Man Without Fear regalia for good measure. Remember, we reported at the end of April that Cox was involved in the Disney Plus series, but you can see what Randolph has to say below.
I can ALSO tell you that not only is #CharlieCox in #SheHulk
but he’ll appear in costume as #Daredevil
not just as Matt Murdock like in #SpiderManNoWayHome
When you see him, you’re gonna go crazy 😍#Marvel #MCU pic.twitter.com/sQYrSQ5ERf

Naturally, Cox’s apparent confirmation only seeks to invite many questions. If he playing the exact same version of the character from Netflix? Possibly, when the MCU wouldn’t even have to reference the events of the streaming series to have his inclusion make sense. Or the again, maybe he’s from the multiverse, which is the entire crux of No Way Home‘s narrative.
Or perhaps he’s being introduced as a brand new Matt Murdock with no connections to anything or anyone, and if you haven’t seen the three seasons of R-rated television that he headlined, then it doesn’t really matter. If we can bank on the actor making his long-awaited comeback to mainline MCU continuity, then fingers crossed confirmation of Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin isn’t too far behind, because that’s something else we’ve all been waiting on for a long time.
