Why stick to having one Deadpool when you can have several? From Lady Deadpool to Dogpool to Galactuspool, this storyline has them all. The unabashed parody of DC’s Green Lantern Corps is relentless in terms of comedy and absurdity, including the dubiously (yet hilariously) similar oath:

“Through lightest dark or darkest light, You don’t need no bling to join the fight. We’re mercs with mouths and so much more, Yippee-ki-yay, we’re the Deadpool Corps!”

Longtime comic book fans and newcomers to the character alike would be able to appreciate and enjoy this film, which would, without a doubt, be full of hilarious one-liners and unbelievably witty dialogue.

Whether any of these comic book story arcs will ever be featured in a motion picture or not (and let’s be real, the likelihood of Wolverine and Captain America appearing on screen together is extremely low), remains to be seen, but no matter which of these storylines the writers turn to for Deadpool 2, if any, we’re no doubt in for another wild ride featuring the Merc with a Mouth.
