9 Messed Up Moments In Disney Movies That You Probably Didn’t Catch

I think I have made it clear through a lot of my articles here at We Got This Covered that I am a fan of animated Disney films. It is a love I have carried with me since childhood. However, I have always heard rumors of Disney hiding some pretty messed up stuff in their cartoons. But in an era before the internet, it was quite hard to prove.

If you thought that a beloved classic like Beauty and the Beast might be free of any hidden, crude, twisted imagery, you’d unfortunately be wrong. While not as blatantly obvious as some of the other examples on this list (trust me, some of them are quite bad), it’s still there if you look close enough.

The scene in question is one between Gaston and Lefou. While you could just chalk it up to unfortunate animation, it’s pretty clear from the photo above that this is likely one of the many times the sick minds at Disney tried to hide sexual imagery in their films. I mean, look at that nose on Lefou – that kind of thing doesn’t happen by accident, right?

Whether it was done on purpose or not, once you see it, you can’t unsee it. Trust me, I’ve tried; Beauty and the Beast is now forever ruined.
