7) Nebula Captured
Gamora’s evil sister – and Thanos’ other daughter – Nebula was a fun, if underutilized character, in the first movie. So, needless to say, we’re happy to see her again in this trailer, even if it is just for a split second. As with everything, it’s not totally clear what’s going on here, but it seems that Nebula has just been captured – by Ravagers maybe?
[zergpaid]The way that this scene comes straight after a shot of Yondu possibly being on his way to joining the team suggests that Nebula will do the same as well. The last time we saw her, Nebula had failed her father and so, ran off to save her own cybernetic skin.
Now that she’s a lone wolf and captured by the Ravagers, it’s not too much of a leap to imagine her being forced to team up with the Guardians. This will no doubt make for a sparky relationship between the two sisters and a nice bit of tension for the rest – how can they be sure that Nebula won’t betray them?
