Guardians Of The Galaxy Amps Up The Action In Second Trailer

Marvel have teased and taunted fans of their motley crew saviours flick, Guardians Of The Galaxy, for YEARS. The project was first announced back in 2010, in an under-his-breath type of way by Kevin Feige. The studio have since continued to drip feed us fans with teeny scraps to sustain our excitement; a piece of concept art here, a tasty casting reveal there, and so on.

This weekend we’ve been gifted a sparkling set of character biographies (recommended to get you up to speed!), a retro throwback-style poster, and not one, not two, but three teaser clips for the trailer that you’re probably already at the bottom of the page watching right now.

Clocking in at two-and-a-half minutes, this second full-length preview is well worth a look (“I am Groot” alone is awesome!) if you’re at all intrigued by Marvel’s next big franchise. It shows off each of the titular Guardians (including great looks at Rocket and Groot) as well as teasing a good deal of the film’s action set pieces. Oh, and once again, Gunn absolutely nails it with the song choices here.

So far, we’re sold on this upcoming intergalactic adventure, and you should be too. It looks like perfect summer blockbuster material and should be a refreshing change of pace from the usual Marvel fare that we’ve been seeing lately.
