Here’s What The Wolverine-Hulk Hybrid Would Look Like In The MCU

Although not many may come to think it, Hulk and Wolverine have been inextricably linked since they went toe to toe in Logan’s first appearance way back in The Incredible Hulk #181. As time’s gone by, the two have repeatedly locked horns, teamed up and even carried their storied history over into other media, namely the 2009 animated film Hulk vs. Wolverine, which I highly recommend checking out.

As some of you may be aware, Marvel recently took the next step by (sort of) combining the two as part of the Weapons of Mutant Destruction storyline. Granted, it was the Amadeus Cho version of the Green Goliath and not Bruce Banner that was designated as “Weapon H,” but it’ll no doubt be remembered as an interesting bit of comic book trivia for years to come.

So, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe currently in its third phase and expected to flourish for years to come, it stands to reason that the folks in Hollywood will continue looking to the source material for inspiration in order to keep the films fresh.

Obviously, the same thought has occurred to fan art extraordinaire Boss Logic who has once again taken to Twitter with their latest treat. This time, though, they’ve reimagined the Hulk as how he’d look as Weapon H in live action. Unfortunately, the brute is partially draped in shadow, but it gives us a pretty good idea nevertheless.

Admittedly, this will remain a pipe dream unless Disney and Fox can get on the same page, but it doesn’t hurt to ponder the possibilities. Plus, they’d need to establish Amadeus Cho on screen before going ahead with something like this. Well, that is unless Kevin Feige and company were to take a left turn by making Bruce Banner the adamantium-infused Hulk.
