Nato And Remy’s Last Stand: Our Horror-Themed New Year’s Resolutions!

Alas, another year has come and gone, but momentary endings come with new beginnings and fresh opportunities, letting us start clean once again. With that said, I have no intention of starting over anything, and neither does my partner Remy, as we see 2014 as a chance to grow, reach even farther, and make the awesome year of 2013 seem uneventful compared to the hard-rocking, face-melting, awe-inspiring year of 2014. I can feel it people! If you thought 2013 had some highlights, just wait for 2014 - to quote lyrical virtuosos Tenacious D, we're here to "rock your f@#king socks off!"

Remy – Get Quoted

PA Quote

Matt is my major inspiration on this one. He may think it’s pretty gnarly that I am writing for BloodyDisgusting, but I think it’s pretty f$cking cool that he got quoted on a boatload of movie boxes/advertisements this past year. Seriously. from Rush to the newest Paranormal Activity, my dude is getting quoted across multiple TVs, many times a day now. I think, as a horror writer, that is insanely awesome.

The truth is, anyone who does what we do for a living and doesn’t cite Siskel And Ebert as an inspiration is just a liar and an asshole. We hail from a time when the only critics who ever got quoted were those two (brilliant) men. To think that maybe, just maybe, something I wrote about a movie could appear on the box art for said movie is a moment I am genuinely looking forward to.

You see the running theme of this list. I want my name on a movie poster, apparently. If it is my name above the movie, great, but hell, I’ll even settle for a review quote. I have definitely have made some cool connections with some different horror actors and directors over the last year, so can’t imagine this one’s too far off. Still looking forward to it, though.
