This new image sees Holland – or at least someone in the Spidey costume – going on a boat ride through Venice with Samuel L. Jackson. While it would be nice to see the pair take some time out on their trip through Europe to try something touristy, we imagine that Peter and Nick Fury are more likely involved in an important mission, and perhaps even a chase.

Seeing how both of these characters were disintegrated in the recent Avengers: Infinity War, it’s unclear how either of them could be living and breathing in next year’s flick, but the presence of Fury feels particularly mysterious. With Cobie Smulders also reprising her role as Maria Hill, many have speculated that this upcoming film, or even the preceding Avengers 4, could see the return of S.H.I.E.L.D., with Peter somehow getting caught up in their latest secret undertaking.

Whatever Peter and Nick are doing together, you can bet that it’s in some way linked to the web-slinger’s next antagonist, Mysterio, who’s been spotted in a couple of set pics himself lately. But if you’re looking for an update on the other half of Peter’s double-life, we’ve seen plenty of images showing that the young hero’s classmates are also along for the ride. As Spidey tries to keep these two worlds separate, you can imagine that things are going to get pretty messy.

In any case, we’ll find out what Peter and Nick have planned for their ride through Venetian waters when Spider-Man: Far From Home comes out on July 5, 2019.
