In these last few days, the first images of Jake Gyllenhaal as the villainous Mysterio have finally made their way online and the internet seems pretty happy with what they’re seeing so far. But if you’d like a better look at the antagonist of the upcoming Spider-Man: Far From Home, this set pic shows off Quentin Beck’s red and gold costume in all its shiny glory.

From look of it, the picture seems to have been taken from the same carnival that previous Mysterio shots showed. For an illusionist like Quentin, this seems like a rather fitting setting for a showdown with Peter Parker, the latter of whom was also spotted on site in his new stealth suit.

As it stands, there’s still a lot to be learned about Gyllenhaal’s role in the film, not to mention how he’ll look in his character’s patented fishbowl helmet. Incidentally, there’ve been rumors going around that Mysterio won’t be the only major villain of the piece, either, with Molten Man, Hydro-Man, and the Chameleon also being mentioned as possibilities.

Throw in some appearances from Nick Fury and Maria Hill and it seems like Peter could have more complications to deal with than ever on his trip through Europe, though he’ll evidently still have some time on his hands to hang out with classmates and possibly strike up a romance with MJ.

Anyway, before Peter can worry about all that, the recent Avengers: Infinity War left him in the pretty awkward position of being turned to dust, so you can imagine that Earth’s Mightiest Heroes will find some way of undoing this disintegration when Avengers 4 comes out on May 3rd, 2019. After that, the young web-slinger and his latest foe will be kicking off Phase 4 of the MCU when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5th.
