Still reeling from Warner Bros.’ unveiling of that barnstorming Justice League teaser? We wouldn’t blame you. Sandwiched in between new looks at Wonder Woman and David Ayer’s Suicide Squad – the next in line to tumble off Warner’s conveyor belt early next month – the first-pumping snippet not only offered up our first look at the titular supergroup coming together (sans Superman, of course), it also unveiled a lighter, slightly more playful tone than that found in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
It went down a storm, too, with fans expressing their jubilation across practically every social channel, but now, Warner has rolled out a series of stunning high-res screenshots (via CBM) that offer a play-by-play breakdown of said teaser.
[zerg]Set against the stirring “Icky Thump” by The White Stripes, the first Justice League snippet followed Ben Affleck’s Caped Crusader as he went about establishing the titular supergroup. Some members, such as Ezra Miller’s Fastest Man Alive, prove an easy coup, while Affleck’s Bruce Wayne is met with a fair bit of resistance when coming up against Jason Momoa’s towering Aquaman. Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Superman (Henry Cavill) complete the ensemble.
Shunning the original plan for a two-part blockbuster in the vein of Infinity War, Zack Snyder will call upon the Justice League on November 17, 2017 – and we couldn’t be more excited.
In related news, over the weekend, we also clocked eyes on the first look at each hero’s respective logo.
