Spider-Man: Far From Home Concept Art Reveals New Look At Mysterio’s Helmet

Mysterio Spider-Man: Far From Home

Spider-Man: Far From Home is currently just under five months away from reaching cinemas, which may not seem like much on paper, but for the Marvel brand, this is set to be a hugely eventful period. In the coming weeks, you can expect much of the focus to be on next month’s Captain Marvel, before the attention shifts more than ever to Avengers: Endgame. But if you’re already keen to see more from Peter Parker’s next solo outing, some newly shared artwork for an assortment of tie-in drink toppers offers further glimpses of the various character designs to feature in the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel.

As the star of the flick, Spidey himself gets not one but two toppers: one in his classic red-and-blue outfit, and the other in the new stealth suit that Peter is set to wear during his tour through Europe. Meanwhile, you have a design for Nick Fury, who interrupts Spider-Man’s field trip to enlist him on a mission taking on Elementals across the continent. To help him in his assignment, Peter will have an unlikely ally in Mysterio, who can be seen here in his purple cape and classic fish bowl helmet.

Though the green suit is a little different from what we saw Quentin Beck wearing in the first Far From Home trailer, we can at least confirm that Jake Gyllenhaal’s character will be sporting similar headgear to the helmet seen above as he helps Peter fight his next set of foes.

Of course, given the pair’s comic book history, it’s likely that Peter and Mysterio won’t be staying friends for long, but we’ll find out if they can at least make for a formidable team before their eventual falling out when Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters on July 5th, 2019.
