This past Monday, Disney, Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams unleashed what’s being called the final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and damn near broke the internet in the process. Fans were left so excited by what they saw that the surge in pre-sales for IMAX screenings shattered records, and caused several sites to crash.
The trailer was jam packed with stunning visuals, featured an updated score by the master John Williams and allowed us to hear some of the new characters speak for the very first time. The content has been analyzed and theorized upon endlessly since the release, with just as many questions raised about the players we didn’t see (looking at you Mr. Skywalker) as the ones we did – not that they escaped the scrutiny!
