Tracers follows the story of Lautner’s bike messenger Cam. A talented lad on two wheels, he’s entangled in a shady deal with a crime gang. His luck changes when he smashes his bike into a delectable stranger, Nikki (Marie Avgeropoulos) and begins to pursue her – and her hobby. Her favourite pasttime is the urban activity of parkour, which leads to Cam’s entry into her gang of runners. However, their athleticism serves a bigger purpose that Cam soon becomes a part of. Abandoning the werewolf schtick, Lautner takes to the high-energy sport with zeal, for this international trailer that owes more than a debt to the Joseph Gordon Levitt-starrer, Premium Rush.

Seeing as there’s been little news on the movie since we first reported Lautner’s involvement back in May 2012, it might suggest that there’s been trouble in paradise. At this stage, the film is scheduled to open in Thailand, Russia, South Africa and France but has yet to secure a US release date.

We’ll keep you posted with any news on Tracers and when you can expect to see it in theatres.

New York City bicycle messenger, Cam (Taylor Lautner, “The Twilight Saga,” “Abduction”) is the hottest thing on two wheels, but is in debt to an organized crime gang. When he crashes his bike into a sexy stranger, Nikki (Marie Avgeropoulos, The CW’s “The 100?), Cam is immediately seduced by her and the thrill of the world of parkour.
