Stay Classy: Top 10 Greatest Will Ferrell Movies

Will Ferrell has been a comedy staple around the world for what feels like an eternity. He can always be counted on to give a fantastic performance with each outing and watching him is always a treat.

6. Zoolander

Yes, this is more of a Ben Stiller movie than a Will Ferrell one, but in any case, to leave Mugatu out of this list would have been criminal.

I’ll admit it, Zoolander isn’t one of my favourite comedies, far from it, in my eyes it’s one of the most overrated comedies of the modern era. Despite this, Ferrell does deliver yet another cracking performance and even those not fond of the film, such as myself, can admit this. Some of his lines in the film are just too good to ignore.

With Zoolander 2 perpetually rumoured, it may not be long until Mugatu is unleashed on the world once more. Whether this is a good thing, or not only time will tell. But as long as they find a way to squeeze Ferrell in, the film will stand a chance of being better than its predecessor.

5. Talladega Nights: The Ballard of Ricky Bobby

We’re really getting into the business end of things now, the order of the final five could so easily be interchanged and in my mind, they will probably change within minutes of this articles submission. Be that as it may, Talladega Nights is my pick for fifth place.

While Ferrell and Reilly were superb in Step Brothers, they were on another level entirely as stock car partners Ricky Bobby and Cal Naughton Jr. The laughs come often in this very easy to watch sports comedy, far superior to the disappointing Semi-Pro.

Despite the Ferrell/Reilly chemistry, some of the funniest scenes are those where Ferrell shares the screen with the excellent Sacha Baron Cohen. A particular highlight for me being the scene where Cohen attempts to force Ferrell to say he likes crepes.

I love me a bit of shake and bake.
