WGTC’s New York Comic Con Gallery

Another year, another New York Comic Con spent walking the Javits Center floor. Panels come and go, filled with conversations and exclusive trailers, while fan-made costumes are paraded around to be immortalized in picture. You've seen the John Wick Chapter 2 trailer by now, and probably the new Power Rangers footage as well, but let's take a moment to highlight the numerous fans who cosplayed the hell out of this year's NYCC.

Another year, another New York Comic Con spent walking the Javits Center floor. Panels come and go, filled with conversations and exclusive trailers, while fan-made costumes are paraded around to be immortalized in picture. You’ve seen the John Wick Chapter 2 trailer by now, and probably the new Power Rangers footage as well, but let’s take a moment to highlight the numerous fans who cosplayed the hell out of this year’s NYCC.

All your favorite characters came out in full force to New York City, from a roving pack of Luigis to a brave soul who took a piece from every one of Jonny Depp’s roles and Frankensteined his own Depp creation. Creativity is never missing at a Comic Con, that’s for sure.

In addition to some of NYCC’s best and most detailed cosplay work, a few booths had some lifelike statues to show off. Your standard Batman and Deadpool forms stood tall for people to snap selfies around, while a few other setups brought more alternative decorations like a gigantic Yu-Gi-Oh creature and some killer virtual reality testing.

Along with your expected Stranger Things cosplay (“Missing Barb” posters placed all around) and legions of Harley Quinns, we also snagged some pictures from the final Teen Wolf panel (as the series comes to a close), along with some snaps of the new Legion cast and some Shadowhunters love.

Hope you enjoy the little gallery we put together including some panel shots and noteworthy cosplayers, and be sure to keep checking back until every last Comic Con update is reported. There’s still a few odds and ends to clean up, which will all be reported here on We Got This Covered. We do, in fact, have you covered!
