Niall Horan Says One Direction Will Be Back

Considering that the One Direction guys are all busy in new endeavors, it makes sense that they probably aren’t always in the mood to talk about the future of their band. However, that doesn’t mean that they aren’t thinking about it. Ex-member and current solo artist, Niall Horan, was quite candid recently about the possibility of One Direction coming back, and his response will get any fan excited.

Speaking with Sunday People, Horan says that One Direction “will be back” and that they would “be silly not to.” He adds that everyone is doing their own thing, and that the group is going to be fine. Horan is in the midst of promoting his new single “This Town,” while Liam Payne and Harry Styles are both signed to a record deal despite no new music yet. Meanwhile, Louis Tomlinson is working behind the scenes in a more executive role to form together a new girl-band.

Despite the promising comments from Horan, people shouldn’t be holding their breath just yet. Everyone will have to go through their respective solo album – or business venture – first before they can really explore the idea of getting back together, and since you can assume that Styles’ inevitable solo music is going to turn out huge, who knows when things will die down once they kick into gear.

Either way, it’s good to know that Niall Horan is thinking of the fans, and that we’ll have the group back in action before we know it.
