‘Why are you doing this?’: California woman calls out man using Grindr to send random men to her unsuspecting parents’ house

People on TikTok have some interesting theories as to who it could be.

A woman has taken to TikTok to address a stranger who keeps sending men looking for a hook up to her parents address. According to her, the mysterious individual has set his address to her parent’s home and has been continuously sending random men to the address as a way of trolling. The thing is, the woman has no idea who it is or why they keep doing it.

TikToker Hala took to the video sharing app to explain the bizarre situation. “Somebody on Grindr keeps messaging guys to come hook up with them and is giving them my parents’ address.” Hala claims that guys keep showing up to her parents’ home “who are an elderly couple,” and they keep having to explain that the guy they’re looking for does not live there.

It’s certainly a strange predicament to be in, who would even think to do this? Hala says it’s happened three times so far, with the most recent incident happening while her parents weren’t even home. The man was apparently “just wandering the property, trying to get in,” and so the cops were called.

Hala claims it’s “clearly the same person that’s doing this, that’s sharing my parents’ address.” She asks why they are doing this, why would they target an elderly couple? Now the people of TikTok are desperate to know why too.

TikTok wants answers

People in the comments were quick to share their own theories that might explain what was going on. “I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this…” one viewer commented, implying that it was Hala’s dad secretly organising trysts with men from Grindr.

It’s certyainly possible, after all, you never know who’s secretly on Grindr. However, others contested that theory asking, why the dad would tell the men to come to his home address knowing his wife would be there. Another person chimed in, “Dad’s not sending them there, but he definitely p—ed someone off,” suggesting Hala’s dad might have had an interaction on Grindr in the past.

Another TikTok viewer suggested it was Hala who may have “disrespected someone,” prompting this strange and obsessive trolling. It certainly seems intentional and personal but if Hala has any inkling as to who the mysterious Grindr troll is, she’s not telling.

In a second video Hala claims it happened again, this time with an old man who pretended to have the wrong address after her mom went out to confront them. Viewers suggested that the next time it happened they ask whoever turns up to show them who they are talking to on Grindr. For now, Hala says she and her sister plan to put up signs warning people that this is not the address for the person they are looking for.
