Woman asks for a cup of ice on a flight. Then the flight attendant allegedly snaps and the whole plane turns to look: ‘Stunned’

Imagine politely asking a flight attendant for a cup of ice, only to be told to be patient in front of an entire cabin. That is the uncomfortable scenario a travel planner named Jenny recently revisited on TikTok, where her reenactment drew hundreds of thousands of views.

Jenny, who posts under the username @vibrantsuntravels, filmed herself in a close-up shot while sitting in an airplane seat. She wore large black headphones and was eating a meal as she acted out the scenario described in the on-screen text.

The text in the video read, “You politely ask a flight attendant for a cup of ice, and she snaps, ‘YOU NEED TO BE PATIENT!’ Everyone turns to look at you, and you just sit there chewing, stunned. Why is this STILL living in my head a year later?!” She captioned the post, “Tell me I’m not the only one who’s experienced this?!”

Throughout the short clip, Jenny chewed her food slowly while her eyes appeared wide and shifted slightly as if she were looking around the cabin at other passengers. Her expression remained one of frozen shock and disbelief as she mimicked the stunned reaction described in the text.

She took another bite of food with a fork around the middle of the video and maintained the same wide-eyed look directed straight into the camera. The video ended with her still chewing and staring into the lens with that same expression.

Many viewers in the comments section described their own experiences involving flight attendants. One person wrote, “flight attendants need to chill, they are servers in airplanes.”

Another commenter stated, “It wasn’t your turn yet.” One viewer described being skipped during a flight and wrote, “The flight attendant skipped me twice because he didn’t want to see me while I’m breastfeeding and “would put him off his lunch”.”
